The entirety of the HPS farm is inspected twice a year by the laboratory ECOCERT in order to merit its label "Agriculture Biologique".
These inspections are conducted throughout the entire exploitation
- Fertilisers
- Comptability
- Pharmacy
- In the field (checks by the inspector for use of any unauthorised pesticides or fertilisers
- On the animals (anomolies, growths)
- The studbook
- Farm recordbook (movement of the herds on the lots, food from outside...)
In addition, we produce for the sake of traceability (not currently required) individual files for each horse indicating the elements from the (studbook) and also:
- where it was dressed
- list of all osteopathic and homeopathic treatments
- list of all participation in equine events (salons, exhibitions, competitions, transhumances...)
- descendents in the case of mares
Preventive treatments
- As with all of our breeding practices we use homeopathic and osteopathic treatments
Natural : the entirety of the breeding programme is conducted in a natural setting with respect for the horse and its environment
- Natural insemination
- Nearly exclusively pasture grazing
- Work and approach to the herd with PNH (Parelli Natural Horse)
- Foaling outdoors and working with the foal from day one
-Transhumance on foot : 5 months in the high mountain pastures
